Did you know that identifying rhyming words is an important skill for preschoolers to practice? We have a fun bug themed rhyming word game that is perfect for your preschool bug unit or anytime! We’ve included it as a free download at the bottom of this post. Keep reading for all the details of how to play.

You will need:

• Bugs Rhyming Words Game (free download below)

• Cardstock

• Glue stick

• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Download and print the Bugs Rhyming Words Game.

2. Glue each paper to a piece of cardstock for durability, and then cut each card out.

3. Place the cards face down and play rhyming word memory! Play as long as you’d like, being sure to help children hear the rhyming word pairs.

4. Once you’ve found all the matches, you can flip them over and play again!
