Feed the Turkey
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and there are so many fun activities to do with your kiddos! You can gear any activity into a holiday-themed one, all it takes is a little creativity. This activity will get your kids in a festive spirit AND help them practice their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
What you'll need:
An empty container (I used a formula canister, but you can really use anything!)
Tweezers (we like these!)
Dried wheat
A cut out of a turkey

Instructions:
Print out or make some kind of a turkey picture. Attach it to your empty container.
Put some dried wheat in a bowl.
Pull out the tweezers and tell your kids to "feed" the wheat to the turkey.
Activity Notes:
If tweezers are too hard for your younger kids, switch them out for something else! You could try scoops, spoons, tongs, etc.
If you don't have dried wheat, find something else that will fit inside your tweezers. You could try dried oats, cereal, beans, etc.
