Halloween Patterns
Halloween is just around the corner, and there are SO many fun Halloween-themed activities to do with the kids! Here's another one to add to your pile. Practicing patterns is so good for your kids, and turning it into a spooky game will make this educational exercise feel like playing!
What you need:
Halloween items! (I quickly cut some out and made mine out of paper, but printing them works too!)
How to play:
Get out your Halloween items.
Create a pattern with the items.
Help your child complete the pattern!
Repeat as many times as you’d like!
Activity Notes:
I'm all about using what you already have so you don't have to make ANOTHER trip to the store. If you don't have paper, use plastic spiders, make monsters out of playdoh, googly eyes, etc. Make it work with what you have!
I did this activity with my 2-year-old and found that 2 items were right where his skill level was. Try adding more items in for your older kids to make it a little more challenging!
