What is a Jungle Jumparoo, you say? Well, if you were to ask me, I would tell you that it is hands down, the BEST investment we’ve ever made for the preschool. I was introduced to this toy when I saw this company on Shark Tank and I bought one right after watching the episode!

Since then, Megan and I have purchased a Jungle Jumparoo for EVERY one of our preschool locations, and in fact, it’s a requirement for every location.

Why do we feel so passionate about this toy? Read on and I’ll tell you why!

As you can see from our pictures, the Jungle Jumparoo can be used in many different ways. We love it because it exercises children’s large-motor skills, especially in the winter time! We live in Utah, and some of our winter months get real cold and snowy. Having a Jungle Jumparoo in the classroom for the children to climb, swing, jump, and play on, helps get the winter crazies out of their systems. It’s basically a safe trampoline (and our insurance policy actually allows it, opposed to a regular trampoline!) The children jump on the large tire at the bottom and hang onto the bars while jumping. They can also use the swing to hang on and swing back and forth while inside. We have found that many of our students love to try to use their feet to climb to the top.

What else can you use the Jungle Jumparoo for?

Dramatic Play: Throw a sheet or blanket over it and it magically becomes a castle, fort, house, cage for animals, etc!
Reading: As you can see from our picture above, it is one of our students’ favorite places to sit down and read a book.
Ball Play: Throw some balls inside and the children can work on other gross motor skills such as throwing and catching. You could even add some academics by having them throw all of the blue balls, then the yellow balls, and so on…OR you could work on patterns or addition while playing with the balls.

Really, you can’t go wrong with a Jungle Jumparoo. It still remains to be the most played with toy in the preschool on a daily basis. With hundreds of children going through our preschool program, it is tried and true and many of our students’ families have bought one for their own homes! This would make the PERFECT gift for your family if you’re on the search during the holiday season.
