L is for Lemon Activity (free download!)

Have you ever tried painting with lemons? It is such a fun, multi-sensory art activity for little ones. And you can throw in some literacy as well by learning all about the letter L and the sound it makes. We’ve created a free download just for you to do this activity in your home or classroom, so be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post and snag it!

You will need:

  • L is for Lemon free download (grab it below!)

  • Lemon cut in half

  • Yellow paint

Instructions:

  1. Download and print the free L is for Lemon page.

  2. Use a paper towel to dry the lemons thoroughly before you use them. The paint gets too runny if the lemon is wet.

  3. Apply a very thin layer of paint to the lemon. This ensures you can see the outline of the lemon when you stamp it!

  4. Stamp your lemon half over the letter L. Repeat as many times as you’d like!
