Fork Painted Lion and Weather Activity (free download!)
In the month of March, we love to chart the weather with our preschoolers in class. We read the book In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb by Marion Dane Bauer together, and then each day we decide if its a “lamb day” or a “lion day.” The preschoolers think this is so fun! We also do this cute fork painted lion activity during this time to tie our lessons all together. We’ve got a free art lesson plan and template for you to download below, and all the details of the project if you keep scrolling!
You will need:
In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb book (find it here!)
Free lion face template (download it below)
Yellow and orange paint (we like this brand)
Plastic fork
Optional: Googly eyes
Optional: Glue
