Instructions:
NOTE: This art project requires careful adult supervision since the griddle is HOT. Please always use your judgement as a parent to know if this activity is right for your child.
Set the griddle on the lowest heat setting and let it warm up.
Cover the griddle with a sheet of aluminum foil.
Carefully rub your crayons around the foil. The warm griddle will melt the wax, allowing you to draw beautiful designs.
Have an adult lay a piece of paper on top of the foil. You can gently rub and press the paper into the melted crayon, then lift it off the foil. Your beautiful melted artwork will transfer to the paper.
Once the wax is cool, hang your art on the refrigerator to enjoy!
