New Years Sensory Bin

It’s no secret that we LOVE sensory bins here at The Preschool Place! And today we’ve created the cutest little New Years sensory bin that is perfect for the holiday break. Keep reading to get all the details so you can make your own at home.

You will need:

  • A plastic tray, container, or cooking sheet

  • Salt

  • Glitter

  • Confetti

  • Disco ball keychains

  • Clear gems

Instructions:

  1. Pour a layer of salt into your tray or container. Make sure its deep enough to cover the entire bottom.

  2. Add glitter, confetti, disco balls, and clear gems.

  3. You can give your child a paintbrush to make shapes and letters, or let them use their fingers to play in the sensory bin.

  4. Always supervise your child when doing sensory play! This tray is more suitable for older children who do not put things in their mouths.
