Pancake Stack Math Game (free download!)
If you’re looking for a fun way to practice some math skills and work on fine motor at the same time, we have just the thing! Our preschoolers love this pancake stack math game, and they are working on building those fine motor muscles, number recognition, and numerical order all with this one game. You will need:
Pancake Stack Math Game free download (see below!)
Spatula
Instructions:
Print and cut out the numbered pancakes. You can laminate them for more durability if you’d like!
Spread out the pancakes in random order.
Using the spatula, have your child make a pancake stack starting with number 1 and going in order to number 10.
To make it easier, set out two or three pancakes at a time so your child can practice identifying numbers with fewer choices.
To make it harder, have your child do it backwards, from 10 to 1.
To practice with some extra fine motor requirements, move the pancakes around the room and have the child balance them on the spatula to bring them to the stack.
