Toy Parade Activity
We have a great, simple activity for you today: a toy parade! You probably have all that you need in your home right now, and this activity is great for fine motor skills, encourages imaginative play, teaches math concepts, and is so easy to set up. Keep reading for all the details!
You will need:
A large open area of floor or tabletop
Painter’s tape
A variety of toys (anything works!)
Instructions:
Use the painter’s tape to create a path on your large open area. You can do lines, zig zags, anything your heart desires! If your child is old enough, you can let them make their own path, too.
Set out the toys and let the children line them up and make a toy parade on the tape! Watch as your child practices making patterns, counting, and using their creativity while they play.
