Colored popsicle sticks
Instructions
Download and print the free Build a Fence Farm Patterns sheet below.
We mounted ours onto some construction paper for extra durability.
Have your child use the different colors to create a pattern on their fence. You might need to show them the first few times. Start with a simple alternating ABAB pattern, and then once they get the hang of that, you can create more intricate patterns (ABC, ABCD, AABB, etc.).
Another fun way to use this game is to practice number recognition. Write the numbers 1-10 on the popsicle sticks, and let your child match them to the corresponding number on the printable.
