Valentine’s Day Noodle Necklaces
This activity has it all: bright beautiful colors, lots of excellent fine motor work, and a final project that your preschooler will love to show off! We enjoy making these easy noodle necklaces during the school year with our preschool classes, and they love wearing them home to show their parents. Keep reading for all the details on how to make your own!
You will need:
Dry pasta noodles (we like to use rigatoni or penne)
Liquid watercolors (we use this brand!)
Ziplock bags
Yarn
Tray or cookie sheet
Parchment paper
Optional: plastic needle (like these)

Instructions:
Put some uncooked pasta into a large ziplock bag.
Add liquid watercolor and shake until the pasta is completely covered.
Spread the pasta out on a tray or cookie sheet covered with parchment paper and let it dry for a few hours.
Using the yarn and the plastic needle, thread your colored pasta to make a necklace.
You can use a variety of different colors to fit any holiday!
We hope your preschooler loves this activity! Let us know in the comments if you try it!
