O is for Orange Activity. (free download!)

One of my favorite multi-sensory activities is painting with different objects! Today we decided to paint with Oranges while we learn about the letter O! We also threw in a fun fine motor activity as well! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post to snag the free download so you can do this project at home!

Materials Needed:

  • O is for orange (free download below!)

  • Oranges (cut in half)

  • Orange paint

Directions:

  • Download and print the free O is for Orange page.

  • Cut your oranges in half.

  • Use a paper towel to dry the oranges thoroughly before you use them. The paint gets too runny if the orange is wet.

  • Apply a very thin layer of paint to the orange. This ensures you can see the outline of the orange when you stamp it!

  • Stamp your orange half over the letter O. Repeat as many times as you’d like!

Extra Activity:

As an extra activity to do with the O is for Orange art, we placed little orange manipulatives around the letter O on our paper. You can find these fun fruit math counters here: https://amzn.to/4gF6Nte
