Our Favorite Preschool Wiggle Songs
Sometimes, you just need a dance break! Today we’ve gathered up some of our very favorite preschool wiggle songs. We love to use these songs when our students are transitioning between activities, when they’ve been sitting down for a bit and need a break, when they have some extra energy, or just when we need a second to have fun! We know you’ll love them as much as we do! Enjoy!
“The Cat Came Back” by Laurie Berkner
A classic, for a reason! Our students love to pretend to be cats while they dance around to this fun song.
“The Wiggle Dance” by Danny Go!
This is a fun way to work out all those extra wiggles!
“Shake Your Sillies Out” by The Learning Station
This is a fun action song sure to get everyone up and dancing.
“Animal Songs” by Storybots
These songs have such fun beats and lyrics! Our students love to dance and learn with them. We usually listen to one or two at a time, and then try the others next time.
“My Mother is a Baker” by Dr. Jean
The kids love to make up silly actions to go along with each job described in the song. It’s a class favorite!
“If I Were A Railroad Train” by Ken Sheldon
Every preschooler loves to talk about planes and trains and cars, right? This song is perfect for getting some wiggles out and includes all the favorite vehicles.
“Wobbly Man” by Koo Koo Kanga Roo
This song is sure to have your whole class giggling and dancing in no time. The kids especially love that teachers have to participate!
