Pumpkin Volcano Science
Have you ever tried to turn your Halloween Jack-o-lantern into a volcano? This is a fun and simple science experiment you can do with your carved pumpkins. You will need:
A pumpkin
A spoon or scoop
Vinegar
Baking Soda
Measuring Cups
Knife
Baking Sheet
Instructions:
Have an adult help you cut a hole in the top of the pumpkin and clean out the pumpkin using the spoon.
Carve your cleaned out pumpkin into a Jack-o-lantern. The sillier the face, the better!
Place the pumpkin onto a baking sheet.
Add a few scoops of baking soda to the bottom of the pumpkin.
Use the measuring cup to add some vinegar to the inside of the pumpkin.
Watch your pumpkin volcano explode!
