Shamrock Painting

It's St. Patrick's Day and you're looking for something to fill in the time before bedtime- here's an idea to add to your list! As long as you have some green paint on hand, I guarantee you'll have everything else you need around the house!

What You Need:

  • Green Paint

  • Toilet Paper Tube

  • White Paper

  • Paper Plate

Instructions:

  1. Put some green paint out on a plate.

  2. Create an example for your kids to follow (see picture).

  3. Have your kids use the toilet paper tube to stamp into the paint and create the 4 leaves of a shamrock.

  4. Have them use their finger to paint the stem, and there you have it!

Activity Notes:

  • If you don't have any paint, try mixing green food coloring in some yogurt or sour cream!

  • If you don't have any toilet paper tubes- don't unroll an entire roll just for this! Just roll up a piece of construction paper and tape it. Same idea!
