Valentine’s Day Tissue Paper Scrunch Heart
Today on the blog we wanted to share a sweet and simple Valentine’s Day art project that you can do with your preschoolers. It turns out so cute every time, and is a perfect idea to make a card or gift for a friend or neighbor or grandparent this Valentine’s Day!
You will need:
Construction paper
Tissue paper squares
Glue
Markers or crayons
Instructions:
Draw a large heart on a piece of construction paper.
Cover the heart in glue.
Take the tissue paper squares and scrunch them up. This is great fine motor practice for little learners!
Smoosh the scrunched up squares into the glue until the heart is completely covered in tissue paper.
Once the heart is dry, cut it out, then attach it to a separate piece of construction paper.
Write a sweet message on your card for your valentine!
