Heart Art
Do your kids love to paint as much as mine? It's one thing that I can count on them always wanting to do! We found a fun way to incorporate Valentines day into our craft, without making it overly girly for my boys. They had lots of fun painting, and then were so excited about the big reveal at the end!
What You'll Need:
Construction Paper (or any heavier type paper)
Painters Tape
Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush
Instructions:
Let your child choose the colors of paper and paint that they want to use.
Use the painters tape to create a heart shape on the chosen paper.
Have your kids paint all over the paper to their hearts content!
Let the paint dry.
Remove the tape and watch the hearts appear!
Activity Notes:
Have your kids ever done the free home depot activities? Next time they do, SAVE THE APRONS. They are the perfect thing for them to wear when painting!
I always put the paint on disposable plates. Super easy clean up.
Put a garbage bag under your kids plates and paper while they paint. Save your table haha!
